Transportation

The experiences and skills of SeTeL in the transportation sector, are focused on the railway and local public transports.

Since 1991 SeTeL developed numerous activities for the railway industry with Hitachi Rai (previously Ansaldo STS) as the main customer.

SeTeL specialists and technicians operate as ILS Consultants, Designers of Training Processes, Technical Trainers and Authors of instructional materials for all type of railway related systems. These activities have been performed for almost 30 railway Companies (including industries, and railway/metro transportation agencies) in 16 countries (Italy, Switzerland, England, Greece, Turkey, Denmark, Sweden, Tunisia, Libya, United States, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Norway, Scotland, Taiwan).

In the transportation contents we develop various activities concerning:

• development of Training Plan & Projects and technical training courses for operators and maintainers of railways systems and vehicles;
• design & development of management educational courses (training for Trainers, Training Managers and CBT/E-learning Instructional Designer);
• design & development of technical publications on railways systems and vehicles (Technical Manuals, Parts Catalogue, etc.);
• design & development of technology based training contents (CBT, E-learning, Procedural Simulations, etc.);
• ILS consulting (Studies of Maintainability, Reliability, and Testability on railways systems and vehicles).
