Objectives:

This project intends to develop a prototype of a multipoint system 2.0, i.e. a system equipped with sensors for detecting force, pressure, displacement, voltage and current, secure data transmission systems towards a company server, data analysis software.
The final objective of the project is the creation of a software platform, able to automatically act on the basis of the data analysis of a database populated with appropriate measurements carried out on the products of the railway line. The proposed software must be able to promptly identify the initial stages of degradation of one of the line control components, before this becomes potentially impacting on the efficiency and/or safety of the railway line. The software, describing the malfunction to the maintainer and also indicating suggestions for the intervention, aims to restore the full efficiency of the system. This means to reduce, up to zero, troubleshooting times and, above all, allowing for intervention before the deterioration becomes a fault (predictive maintenance).
